As announced by Sonic Labs, Fantom (FTM) tokens are being upgraded to Sonic (S) tokens. This swap will affect all Luno customers with FTM wallet balances.
What can Luno customers expect?
Luno will support the FTM to S migration. If you hold any FTM with Luno, you don’t need to take any action, but here’s what you need to know:

This migration will not directly impact the FTM wallet balance and any FTM you hold will be securely stored in your wallet.

Sends and receives for FTM are currently unavailable on the Luno platform.

You can continue buying and selling FTM as per usual.

Luno will inform FTM holders when we have confirmed a time and date to upgrade your tokens to Sonic.
Note
You don’t need to do anything. Your FTM tokens remain securely stored in your Luno wallet and will be updated to S automatically when the migration happens.
