In this article, you’ll learn how to receive cryptocurrency to your Luno wallet from another wallet. You can receive cryptocurrency by providing the sender with one of the following:

How to receive crypto to your wallet address

Sign in to the Luno app

Select Portfolio from the menu

Select RECEIVE

Select Create receive address

Choose the cryptocurrency you'd like to create a receive address for

Name your receive address and select CREATE

Read the disclaimer and select GOT IT

Scan the QR code or select the copy icon to share your receive address with the person who's sending you crypto
Success! You can now receive crypto payments to the wallet address you’ve created.

Some crypto platforms will give you a choice of different transfer networks to send your crypto, so it's essential to choose the appropriate one. It's also crucial to note that certain cryptocurrencies are incompatible with certain receive addresses. If you mistakenly send crypto to an incompatible address or use the wrong transfer network, the funds will be lost, and there's usually no way to recover them.
