Who can use this feature?
The ability to buy multiple coins with one transaction is currently only available to customers in South Africa, Nigeria, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Kenya.
Coin combos allow you to buy multiple cryptocurrencies with a single purchase. You can choose to buy our most popular cryptocurrencies, a bit of everything, or a selection of coins hand-picked by you.
Here’s how to buy multiple coins at once
- Sign in to your Luno account
- Select Crypto
- On the Explore screen, scroll down to What would you like to do? at the bottom
- Select Buy multiple coins
- Choose which coin combo you'd like to buy:
- Luno's most popular coins: invest in only our most traded coins. Your investment will be split equally across all coins
- All piece of everything: invest in all the cryptocurrencies that Luno supports in your region
- Choose your own coins: invest in your choice of the coins we offer. Your investment will be split equally across all coins selected
- View the coins and select NEXT
- Enter the amount you’d like to pay, then select NEXT
- Review your amount and transaction cost, and select CONFIRM to continue
- Enter your Luno PIN
Success! The cryptocurrencies you’ve just bought will appear in their individual crypto wallets under YOUR INVESTMENTS on your Portfolio screen.
Frequently asked questions
What’s the cost for buying multiple coins?
The transaction cost will be the same as the standard buy/sell cost in your region.
The exact transaction cost amount, and the total amount left over to buy the coins, will be shown to you before you confirm the transaction.
What are the minimum and maximum amounts that I can buy?
Indonesia
- Minimum: Rp 15,000 (per coin included in combo)
- Maximum: Rp 120,000,000
Malaysia
- Minimum: RM 1 (per coin included in combo)
- Maximum: RM400,000
Nigeria
- Minimum: ₦50 (per coin included in combo)
- Maximum: ₦3,600,000
South Africa
- Minimum: R1 (per coin included in combo)
- Maximum: R1,500,000
United Kingdom
- Minimum: £1 (per coin included in combo)
- Maximum: £100,000

How is the amount I pay divided among the coins?
Once your transaction cost is deducted, the remaining amount will be split equally among each of the coins.
Where can I find the cryptocurrency I’ve bought?
After you’ve bought the coins, they’ll appear in individual crypto wallets on your Portfolio screen. You’ll find Bitcoin in your BTC wallet, Ethereum in your ETH wallet, etc. If you haven’t previously created crypto wallets for any of the coins, these wallets will be created automatically for you.
What payment methods can I use?
Currently, you can only buy multiple coins at once by using funds in your local currency wallet. You’ll need to deposit money into your local currency wallet first before you buy.
How do I sell these coins in future?
While you can buy them all in one go, you’ll need to sell each cryptocurrency individually. When you’re ready to sell a coin, go to your Portfolio screen, select SELL, then choose which crypto you want to sell.
