Frequently asked questions

Are there any deposit limits?

The minimum limit is Rp 10.000 and the maximum is the total balance in your GoPay wallet.

How long before my money is in my Luno wallet?

Your payment will reflect within 15-30 minutes after you’ve made a GoPay deposit. We'll let you know as soon as your money arrives.

Will I be charged a fee?

Yes. The deposit fee is 2%.

Why am I seeing an ‘account not found’ error?

If your phone number is not registered on Gojek, you’ll have to register your number to create an account before you can make a deposit.

This error can also happen if you’ve changed your PIN or phone number in the GoPay app since linking your account, or if you’ve gone into your GoPay app and unlinked Luno from there.

What happens if I change my phone number?

You can only link one phone number to your GoPay wallet. If you change your phone number, you won’t be able to use the Gopay deposit option because it’s already linked to your previous number.

To relink your new number to GoPay, you’ll first need to contact our support team so we can confirm the new number belongs to you. We’ll then unlink your old number from GoPay. This is a security feature and the process is in place to prevent third-party deposits (funds deposited into your Luno account by someone other than yourself).
