Proof of payment instructions for Malaysian banks

We may ask you for a proof of payment if your deposit has been unallocated. This may be for any number of reasons, though it’s very likely that the incorrect deposit reference number was used. Without the correct reference, it becomes quite hard for our team to track your specific deposit in the thousands they have to process daily.

In order for us to track your deposit and allocate it to the correct Luno wallet, you’ll have to upload a valid proof of payment from your bank. To make it a little easier for you, we’ve compiled a list on how to get your proof of payment document from the most popular banks in Malaysia.


Maybank logo

  1. Sign in to Maybank2U internet banking on your web browser

  2. Select Personal Saver Account

  3. Under Available Balance, select All Transaction History from the dropdown, and then M2U Transaction

  4. Look for your bank transfer transaction and select the Download icon to the right

  5. And lastly, select the Download icon once again at the top right-hand corner


CIMB Clicks logo

  1. Sign in to CIMB Clicks internet banking on your web browser

  2. Select Pay & Transfer > Transaction History

  3. Select Ref for the bank transfer you’re looking for

  4. And lastly, select the '...’ option at the top right and then PDF to download


Public Bank logo

  1. Sign in to Pbebank internet banking on your web browser

  2. Select Account > View PBe transaction on the left panel

  3. Select Account Number > Transaction Period and week > Next

  4. Select Transaction Reference of the specific transaction you’re looking for

  5. And lastly, Save as PDF to get your proof of payment


RHB logo

  1. Sign in to RHB internet banking on your web browser

  2. Select RHB now

  3. Enter Name, secret word and password

  4. From the side panel, select My Account > Transaction History

  5. Lastly, download your proof of payment from there


HongLeong Bank logo

  1. Sign in to Hong Leong Connect internet banking on your web browser

  2. Select Menu > History > Transactions

  3. Select Transaction and Status > Recipient Name

  4. And lastly, select Download Receipt to get your proof of payment


AmBank logo

  1. Log in to your AmBank Online account (App)

  2. Select View AmOnline History

  3. Select the Transaction you’re looking for

  4. And lastly, select the ‘…’ option to the right and then Download Receipt
