How do I add Luno widgets to my home screen?

The widgets available may differ depending on your country and device. No widgets are available in the UK.

You can add Luno widgets to your mobile device's home screen in a few simple steps. Follow the steps below to learn how to choose which coins you want to see in price widgets and whether to show the price in USD or your local currency on your phone’s screen. There's also a news widget to see daily market updates. 

iOS instructions

To add a widget

  1. From your device’s Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area until the apps jiggle

  2. Tap the Add (+) button in the upper-left corner

  3. Search, then select ‘Luno’ to see the available Luno widgets

  4. Swipe left or right to choose a widget, then tap Add Widget to add it to your Home Screen

To edit a widget

  1. Tap and hold on the widget you want to edit

  2. From the quick action menu that opens, select Edit Widget

  3. Make the changes you want to make, then tap outside the widget to exit

Android instructions

Add a widget

  1. On your device’s Home screen, touch and hold an empty space until the widget icon displays at the bottom of the screen

  2. Tap Widgets

  3. Search or scroll down to find the Luno widget

  4. Touch and hold the Luno widget and drop it on your home screen

  5. On the Display preferences screen, edit the widget to display what you’d like to see

To edit a widget

  1. Tap and hold on the widget for Widget settings to appear

  2. Use the back arrow to confirm changes to ensure that the widget appears

  3. Make the changes you want, then tap outside the widget to exit

Note

When editing a widget on Android, if you don't use the back arrow to navigate back, the changes made won't be reflected on the widget. The back arrow is used to confirm changes and initiate the widget.
