Our banking details have changed for deposits in Australia (April 2025)

On 4 April 2025, our banking details for customers in Australia were updated. There is a new BSB and virtual account number you should use when depositing via bank transfer.

Note

PayID will not be affected and will continue to work as usual.

Do I need to do anything?

If you’ve previously saved Luno’s banking details, you need to delete or update those details in your banking app.

Where will I find Luno’s new details?

All existing customers will be assigned a new virtual account associated with the new BSB number. When signing into the Luno app and following the steps to complete a deposit, Luno’s new details will be shown to you on the last screen.

  1. Go to your AUD wallet and select DEPOSIT

  2. Select Bank Transfer

  3. Enter the amount you'd like to deposit and select NEXT

  4. Take note of our updated banking details when making your deposit

Note

Only use the deposit details provided in the Luno app. Never use information provided by external sources.

What happens if I accidentally deposit my funds into the old account?

Deposits made to the old bank account using the old BSB (802-985) will be rejected and will automatically be reversed to your account. Please allow for 3-5 business days for the funds to be returned. Please be sure to update the details before you make your next deposit.
