Have you encountered or been affected by a potential scam?
For example, did you send money to a trader or business that failed to deliver the promised profits or returns? When you asked for your funds, were you met with demands for additional payments or even blocked from contacting them? Or perhaps you were offered a fake job at Luno?
Here's what to do:
-
Report the suspected scam to us immediately by using the button below.
-
You'll be redirected to a form to provide us with more details.
-
On the form, we'll ask if you'd like to temporarily lock your account. If the scammer can sign in to your Luno account, we recommend that you do this to make sure your crypto is safe while we're investigating. This means that neither you nor anyone else will be able to make crypto sends and local currency withdrawals for 7 days.
-
Once we receive your report, our support team will investigate and do what we can to shut down the scam. While it's not possible to reverse crypto transactions, reporting these cases helps prevent future scams.

Just like banks and other financial institutions, crypto platforms can also be targeted by various scams. Learn more about crypto scams.
