How do I choose which coins I see on my home screen?

Once you’ve signed up for a Luno account, you’ll automatically see the Crypto prices on your home screen. To customise your view, you can choose the coins you’d like to see in your Favourites. You can also see the prices in US dollars, or filter coins according to the different themes or use cases of each cryptocurrency.

How to choose your Favourites

  1. Sign in to the Luno app

  2. On your Home screen next to Crypto prices, select Edit, or scroll to the bottom of the coin list and select Add to list

  3. Choose the coins you want to see on your home screen by selecting the star icon to add the coin to your Favourites

Now when you have the Favourites category selected, you'll only see these chosen coins on your home screen.

Crypto prices in US dollars

If you’d prefer to see crypto prices in USD, follow the steps above and toggle the Price in USD on under DISPLAY.

Viewing different crypto categories

In addition to seeing your Favourites, you can also view supported coins in your region according to their use cases. To do this, select Layer 1, DeFi, Stablecoins, Smart contracts or AI x Crypto under Crypto prices on your Home screen.

Example: If you want to see how cryptocurrencies that use smart contracts are performing, select Smart contracts and only those coins will appear.

Switching the timeline

If you’d like to see how the crypto prices have changed over time, you can choose the following:

  • 1d (over the last day)

  • 1w (over the last week)

  • 1m (over the last month)

  • 6m (over the last 6 months)

  • 1y (over the last year)

  • All (since the day the coin was launched)

Simply select a coin, choose the timeline you’d like to view and drag across the graph to see the price at a specific date.

Follow the link to see a full list of cryptocurrencies Luno supports or head over to the Explore section of the Luno app to learn more about different coins.

Note

Adding a coin to your Favourites doesn’t create a wallet for it. To enable a new crypto wallet, follow the steps to learn how to add a cryptocurrency wallet.
