When you do certain sensitive things, like sending cryptocurrency or making changes to your settings, you'll need to confirm those actions.
You'll be asked to enter your Luno 4-digit PIN, and we'll send you an SMS message with a link that you'll need to use to authorise the action.
I've lost my phone. What now?
If you've lost your phone, there are two ways that you can authorise the action. On the Check your SMS screen:
- You can ask us to call you by selecting call me instead,
- or select the lost mobile number option, and we'll send you an email with a 6-digit code to recover your account.
Tip
For a much better experience, be sure to trust your mobile device, which will allow you to authorise actions through push notifications in the app instead of SMSs or emails.
