There are a number of payment methods you can use to add money to your Luno wallet.
Bank transfers
Bank transfers, also known as EFTs, allow you to deposit money into your Luno local currency wallet. This method typically takes up to a few working days before the money reflects in your account.
Instant deposits
Instant deposits enable you to deposit money into your local currency wallet. When making an instant deposit within the Luno app, funds will reflect almost instantly.
Instant buy
In some countries, you can buy cryptocurrency directly with your debit or credit card, without first having to add money to your local currency wallet. This method is generally much faster than a bank deposit, but can also incur a slightly higher fee.
Voucher deposits
In Nigeria, you can make a deposit by purchasing a voucher and entering your voucher number on Luno. The voucher can be paid for with your bank card or via bank transfer. Once redeemed, the funds will be added to your NGN wallet.
