Our PayID deposit method allows Australian customers to deposit money directly into their Luno wallets, instantly. Once we know a little bit more about you (aka verifying your identity), you can deposit money into your AUD wallet in a few easy steps.
Here’s how
Sign in to the Luno app, select Wallets, then Deposit on your AUD wallet. When there, follow these steps:

From the selection choose Instant deposit with PayID

Enter the amount you'd like to deposit

Next, you’ll see a personalised PayID email address. Whenever you make a deposit to Luno using PayID, make sure to use your personalised Luno PayID

Log in to your banking app, add the PayID email address above and add "Luno" as a payee/beneficiary to make your deposit. Please use lowercase when adding your Luno PayID

Funds should reflect in your AUD wallet within a few minutes, however, some banks may hold first-time deposits for up to 24 hours

Once funds have arrived in your wallet, you’re now good to go to use Luno to buy Bitcoin in Australia

We’ve created a PayID specifically for your Luno wallet. When funds are sent to this PayID, they will appear in your Luno Wallet.
PayID is available at most major banks in Australia. It’s usually found in your banking app. To activate this feature, you’ll need to enable PayID on your bank account. Do this by following your bank's instructions.
Once set up, you can make deposits to your Luno Wallet using the PayID provided to you. In this instance, the email address which looks like bx------@luno.com or ln------@luno.com in the Wallet TopUp page.
No. This PayID belongs to your Luno wallet. Any deposits made to this PayID will be allocated to your Luno Wallet, so please do not hand this out to anyone. To create your own PayID for your friends or family to pay you, please do this in your banking app.
No. However, your bank may have a daily PayID limit set. Please contact your bank to find out what your PayID limit is. You may be able to increase this limit by asking your bank.
There are no fees on deposits AUD 50 and above. Deposits below AUD 50 will incur a small deposit charge.
