There are, yes. When withdrawing funds from your local currency wallet to your bank account, certain minimum amounts, as well as maximum withdrawal limits, apply. Here’s how it works.

Minimum withdrawal amount

When you’re withdrawing funds from your local currency wallet, here’s the minimum withdrawal amount for your country:

COUNTRY MINIMUM WITHDRAWAL AMOUNT
Australia $1
Europe €1
Indonesia Rp 50,000
Malaysia RM 1
Nigeria ₦200
South Africa R10
Uganda USh 20,000

The Luno withdrawal fee is added to the amount you want to withdraw, and this will be displayed to you on the withdrawal confirmation screen. So you’ll need to make sure that you have enough available funds in your local currency wallet to cover the amount you want to withdraw, as well as the Luno fee.

Tip

Not sure what the withdrawal fee is that you’ll pay? Follow the link to view Luno's fees and transaction limits.

Maximum withdrawal limit

The maximum amount that you’re able to withdraw depends on your account verification level. Each level has a specific withdrawal limit that applies.

Tip

If you’re not sure which verification level you’re on or if you’d like to upgrade your account, you can do so by selecting Verification from your Settings screen.
