In a nutshell, cryptocurrency trading is the buying and selling of cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple (XRP) via an exchange, with the aim of generating a profit from short, medium or long-term fluctuations in their price.
An exchange, like the Luno Exchange, is simply a platform that connects buyers with sellers, much similar to other exchanges/markets, e.g. stocks, commodities, forex, and in our case - cryptocurrency.
