You can update your contact details very easily on your profile settings.
There, you can:
- Add an email address that you can use to sign in to Luno,
- or change the mobile number linked to your profile.

Having trouble updating your email address or mobile number?
If you’re not able to update your contact details, we’ll need to help you out. Select Change my email address or Change my mobile number below, where we’ll ask you for the following:

The email address or mobile number currently associated with your account

The email address or mobile number that you’d like to change to

The reason why you’re not able to update the contact details yourself

To upload a selfie with ID and note
Keep in mind

Your face must be clearly visible

The information on your identity document and handwritten note must be legible

You must be holding your identity document and the handwritten note in the same photo

The handwritten note must include the required action that Luno needs to take otherwise the submission will be invalid

What should the note say?
For the selfie with ID and note, attach a clear, high-resolution photo of yourself holding both of the following in the same photo:

Your identity document

A handwritten note with today’s date, “For Luno Use Only” as well as the action you'd like us to take.
Examples of actions
Your note needs to be very specific:

If you’d like us to reset your 2FA, your note needs to include today’s date, and “For Luno use only, please reset my 2FA”

If you’d like us to update your password, your note needs to include today’s date, and “For Luno use only, please update my password”

If you’d like us to update your email address, your note needs to include today’s date, and “For Luno use only, please update my email from [old email address] to [new email address]”

If you’d like us to update your mobile number, your note needs to include today’s date, and “For Luno use only, please update my mobile from [old mobile number] to [new mobile number]”
