Updating the password on your Luno account is easy to do by following a few simple steps.
How to change your Luno password

Sign in to your Luno account with your email address and password, as well as your two-factor authentication (2FA) code if you have 2FA enabled

Select Profile from the menu, and then Security

Select Password

You’ll be prompted to enter your current password, as well as choose a new password. Once done, select NEXT

If you're using the mobile app, enter your 4-digit PIN; or if you're using a web browser and have 2FA enabled, enter your 2FA code
Success! You’ve now successfully updated your password.
Note
Remember that your new password must contain more than 8 characters, at least 1 symbol & number, and at least 1 uppercase letter.
I’ve forgotten my password. What now?
If you’ve forgotten your Luno account password, you can use account recovery to change your password. To access account recovery:
If you’re still signed in on the mobile app

Select Profile from the menu, and then Security

Select Password

When prompted to enter your password, select FORGOT PASSWORD

You’ll be taken to Account recovery so that you can change your password
If you’re not signed in

Sign in to Luno with your email address

When prompted to enter your password, select FORGOT PASSWORD

You’ll be taken to Account recovery so that you can change your password
Note
You’ll need access to your primary email and mobile number or 2FA authentication app.
